We are incredibly grateful for Summerfield Trust’s support over the years, making a real difference for older people in Gloucestershire. They enabled us to run our Friendship Line, a lifeline for those feeling isolated at the start of the pandemic. One woman, living with sight loss, missed having her friend read to her. We paired her with a volunteer who read to her over the phone and even did meditation sessions together, bringing comfort and connection.
Your support funded dedicated advice for those navigating later life through our Help Team and helped produce printed materials that keep thousands of older people informed and connected.
